Treasure Hunt terms
The rules that apply when you find a Fish Food Golf Treasure Hunt ball and claim your prize.
About the Treasure Hunt
From time to time, specially marked Fish Food Golf Treasure Hunt balls will be placed back into play at golf courses.
If you find one, you can claim a Fish Food Golf Treasure Hunt prize, subject to the terms below.
There is no purchase necessary. The Treasure Hunt is intended to be a bit of fun for the golfing community while giving one of our golf balls another round before it heads back out into the wild.
How to take part
If you find a genuine Fish Food Golf Treasure Hunt ball:
- Keep hold of the ball and contact us at fishfoodgolf@hotmail.com.
- Follow the official Fish Food Golf Facebook page. If you already follow the page, you do not need to follow again.
- Like the current Fish Food Golf Treasure Hunt post on Facebook.
- We may ask you to provide a photograph of the Treasure Hunt ball so that we can verify it.
- Once the find has been verified, we will arrange your prize and the return of the Treasure Hunt ball.
The Treasure Hunt ball must be returned to Fish Food Golf so that it can be placed back into circulation.
Where practical, we can collect the ball from a local finder. If it needs to be posted back to us, we will agree the return arrangements with the finder and reimburse the reasonable postage cost.
Rewards
A verified finder will receive a Treasure Hunt prize consisting of:
- One premium golf ball, such as a Titleist Pro V1, TaylorMade TP5 or Callaway Chrome model.
- Two additional quality second-life golf balls selected by Fish Food Golf.
- 10 sustainable bamboo golf tees.
Exact golf ball brands and models may vary depending on available stock.
Only one Treasure Hunt prize may be claimed per person.
Prizes have no cash alternative and cannot be exchanged for cash.
General
Please take part responsibly and respect golf courses, private property and other people.
Treasure Hunt balls should only be retrieved where it is safe and lawful to do so. Participants must not enter private or restricted property, cross boundaries, interfere with play, ignore golf club or course rules, or put themselves or anyone else at risk in order to find or retrieve a Treasure Hunt ball.
Fish Food Golf does not encourage or authorise trespassing or unsafe behaviour. Participation is voluntary and participants remain responsible for their own actions and for complying with the rules of the golf course or location concerned.
If a Treasure Hunt ball cannot be retrieved safely or lawfully, please leave it where it is.
Fish Food Golf reserves the right to refuse a claim where a ball cannot be verified as a genuine Fish Food Golf Treasure Hunt ball, where the participation requirements have not been met, or where there is evidence of misuse or an attempted duplicate claim.
Fish Food Golf may amend, pause or withdraw the Treasure Hunt at any time if necessary. Any changes will be published on the Fish Food Golf website or official Facebook page.
